Research has repeatedly shown that full-spectrum CBD oil provides more benefits than other types of hemp oils, such as broad-spectrum CBD oil or CBD isolate. This is thanks to the entourage effect, which is the significant boost in overall effectiveness seen when all of the original plant compounds are taken together instead of individually.
We are very proud of the heirloom hemp strain used to produce our full-spectrum CBD oils. This particular strain first arrived in America during the War of 1812 and is prized for its unique terpene profile, which we believe makes it incredibly potent. Once harvested, the hemp undergoes a special alcohol-extraction method to preserve the integrity of the compounds and ensure the highest quality and concentrations possible. You’ll be pleased to know that every step of the process takes place here in the USA.
How do you use CBD oil?
To use our CBD oil, simply place the dropper in your mouth, and squirt the oil under your tongue. Hold the oil there for a full 60 seconds before swallowing. Some people experiment with the dosage until they find the amount that provides the relief they are seeking. However, it’s best to follow the recommended dosage guidelines, and always start with a small amount to gauge how your body will react.
Why should you put CBD oil under your tongue?
Placing CBD oil under your tongue (known as sublingual administration) allows your body to absorb the oil directly into the bloodstream and bypass the digestive system. Taking CBD oil sublingually allows you to enjoy the full effect of the oil and experience relief in the fastest manner possible.
How many droppers of CBD oil should you take per day?
We recommend taking one full dropper of CBD oil twice daily—one in the morning and one at night. It is generally best to start with a low-dose option, such as our 750 mg CBD Oil. If you do not get the desired results and expected benefits from the low-dose option, consider moving up to the Extra-Strength CBD Oil.
Does CBD oil have side effects?
Although side effects are rare, some people may experience mild fatigue or drowsiness, diarrhea and other digestive issues, dry mouth, and lack of appetite when taking CBD oil. Be aware that CBD oil can interact with certain medications, so always consult with your doctor prior to taking the first dose, particularly if you routinely take prescribed medicines.
What does full spectrum mean in CBD oil?
Full-spectrum CBD contains all of the cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and other beneficial compounds that naturally occur in the hemp plant. In other words, no compounds are removed after the initial extraction process is complete, and you receive the full compound profile of the plant, including trace amounts of THC, which we believe provides the greatest effects and relief of symptoms. Broad-spectrum CBD is similar but does not contain any THC. CBD isolate contains only CBD, and while it is the purest form of CBD, it is not thought to be as effective as full-spectrum CBD.
Why is full-spectrum CBD oil so expensive?
We don’t believe in cutting corners or using inferior ingredients. Our full-spectrum CBD oil comes from hemp plants carefully grown in Kentucky and North Carolina. Sourcing our heirloom hemp is not cheap. Additionally, the alcohol extraction process, all-natural ingredients, third-party testing, and high CBD concentrations all drive our costs higher. However, as you’ll see, our commitment to premium quality results in products that meet and exceed your expectations.
Is full-spectrum CBD worth it?
Full-spectrum CBD is thought to be the most effective form of CBD because it contains the complete compound profile of the hemp plant without adulteration. These compounds work synergistically within the body to enhance the effects of each component in a phenomenon known as the entourage effect. Other forms of CBD, such as CBD isolate, may be beneficial, but they are not typically as effective as taking all of the cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids together as you would with a full-spectrum CBD product.
Does full-spectrum CBD oil make you high?
Our full-spectrum CBD oils do contain a small percentage of THC (0.3%), the principal compound responsible for the “high” associated with marijuana use. However, this trace amount is within the legal limit and is too low to produce any type of “high” or psychoactive effect. Be aware that, although the amount of THC in our products is quite small, it is possible that you could fail a drug test while using these products, especially if you take more than the recommended dose or use CBD oil frequently.
Does full-spectrum CBD show in a drug test?
Full-spectrum CBD contains trace amounts of THC (0.3%), which is within the legal limit. This small percentage could be enough to cause you to test positive for marijuana should you undergo a drug test. If there is even a small chance that you will be tested for drugs in the near future, do not take any product containing full-spectrum CBD oil.
